Written and directed by Robyn Faye, Naked Truths originally opened at The Farnham Maltings and was performed by Robyn Faye and Ben Cooper.
Skirting around a questionable relationship between a teacher and student, this immersive theatre show aimed to have the audience questioning what they saw. Can you make a secure decision with only half the facts?
Naked Truths

An immersive experience...
Naked Truths invited the audience to be actively involved in the show and to play a part in it's evolution. Each member of the audience was given a school tie and invited to sit at desks. Throughout the show they participated as students in various lessons, as well as being 'flies on the wall' to various more private conversations.
At the opening night, audience members were invited to give feedback and discuss the "did they or didn't they?" aspect of the show. The results interestingly showed a drastic divide between genders; the female and non-binary members of the audience veered more towards the idea that the teacher had taken advantage of the student, whereas the majority of the men argued that she was manipulating the situation. The information gathered at this discussion was used as research for Robyn's dissertation.
