
ABOUT ROBYN
Robyn Faye is an actor and creator based in London UK. A recent graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she is well aquatinted with both contemporary and classical work.
Robyn is a versatile and hardworking performer who loves to collaborate with others. During her Masters Degree she explored many practitioners such as Demidov, Mamet, Meisner and Stanislavsky, and also completed a residency at The Globe where she worked on a production of Romeo and Juliet. She has a passion for making her own work, which in the past has included a self-written play Naked Truths performed at The Farnham Matings and a collaboration with the award winning theatre company 'Les Enfants Terribles' to create the immersive experience The Prism. Her first film, the short Scrub Me, Daddy, has made the top 25 selection for Straight 8 2024 and will premiere at the BFI IMAX. She is also currently in post-production for her second short Flying Duo, and was also invited by the production company Gunpowder House to direct a scene for their pilot SPARK challenge. .
Recent work includes the short films Copy Cat for Channel 4 and her first feature in a starring role It's Always The End of The World, due to premiere in 2026.; A TV commercial for LV and music videos for Bring Me The Horizon and Lava La Rue. She also recently performed in Spit It Out, a new play written by Alice K Stephens showing at The Vaults, The King's Head and Headgate Theatre, as well as a Queer adaption of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Etcetera Theatre.

Film: Birdsong
"Following the death of their mother, one sister tries to convince the other that she isn't really gone." A short film featuring Robyn Faye alongside her sister, Charly Faye; Birdsong can be watched online for a limited time ahead of its live screenings across the UK.
Music Video: IRL
The artist Lowswimmer has released his new music video IRL, created by Picloc Productions and starring Robyn and Charly Faye in the lead roles. Set in a dystopian laboratory basement, the story follows a girl and her botched clone as they are welcomed to their new family.

Theatre: Spit It Out
'Call me Emily. Please. One of you.'
Emily is a woman in denial. She tells herself that she’s happy enough as things are, that she can reject these feelings of gender dysphoria, and that she can keep her innate desire to transition repressed ... until she can’t.
Spit It Out is the new play written by Alice K Stephens and directed by Jamie Coenen, with Isobel Sheard co-directing. The play stars trans actress Willow MacDonald as Emily. Robyn Faye and Isobel Sheard accompany MacDonald to play a cascade of characters who complicate Emily's coming out.

Commercial: CESKA Bank
Directed by Jan Svejkar, the latest commercial for Ceska Bank features Robyn and Charly Faye. Showing a narrative driven story of self belief, it's tag line "you are stronger than you think" encourages viewers to overcome the voices in your head telling you that you're not good enough. Film: It's Always The End of The World
It’s Always the End of the World is a romance-thriller that follows Max and Charlotte (Robyn Faye) as they take a trip to a cabin once owned by Charlotte’s now deceased uncle. Max is wrestling with the death of his father, as Charlotte struggles with one year of sobriety.
Music Video: Strangers
The band Bring Me The Horizon debuted their new music video for Strangers featuring Robyn and Charly Faye playing a visual representation of self destruction. The video hit a million views within a day of it's release.

Theatre: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Set at a house party in the 1970s, best-friends Hermia and Helena navigate their undeniable chemistry amidst a heterosexual date with friends Lysander and Demetrius. Robyn Faye plays Helena in this queer adaption of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Opening to a sold out audience, this theatrical adaption originally premiered in April at The Etcetera Theatre in Camden. Following a great reception the cast and creative crew have been invited back to perform the show again during the Camden fringe in June.


Film: Copy Cat
Robyn stars in the short film Copy Cat, produced by Channel 4 for the Straight 8 film competition. Directed by Sam Baker, this short has been selected as part of the top 8 for 2023; meaning it will make it's premiere at Cannes this May. It will also be showing at the BFI Institute later the same month.

Film: Scrub Me, Daddy
Scrub Me, Daddy follows a girl and her best friend; her loyal kitchen sponge. Together they embark on an adventure that is as mystical as it is unhinged. This short film was written and directed by Robyn Faye for Straight 8 2024 and premiered at the BFI IMAX on the 25th May 2024.

Film: Spark

Gunpowder House are harnessing the powers of ten different filmmakers to create an explosive short film. The twist being, the creation begins with the final scene and is shot backwards! For this new challenge Robyn was invited to write and direct scene 5.

Film: Flying Duo
Written by Emma Brunet and directed by Robyn Faye, Flying Duo is a short film that follows two best friends finding their feet in the new and exciting city of London. Currently in post production.

Film: Magic 8
1974. A smoke filled sports bar. Love is like a game of pool.
Magic 8 is a 3 minuet short film shot on super 8 which aims to explore what happens when making a queer connection in a stereotypically 'Straight' space. It follows two men (referred to as Solid and Stripe), neither obviously gay to the other men around them, who engage in a game of pool. *Currently in Post-production*
