SPIT IT OUT
By Alice K Stephens
Theatre: Spit It Out
Emily tells herself that she’s happy enough as things are, that she can reject these feelings of gender dysphoria, and that she can keep her innate desire to transition repressed ... until she can’t. Spit It Out is the new play written by Alice K Stephens and directed by Jamie Coenen. The play stars trans actress Willow MacDonald as Emily. Robyn Faye and Isobel Sheard accompany MacDonald to play a cascade of characters who complicate Emily's coming out. Performed at The Glitch and The Kings Head Theatre.
Theatre: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Set at a house party in the 1970s, best-friends Hermia and Helena navigate their undeniable chemistry amidst a heterosexual date with friends Lysander and Demetrius. Robyn Faye plays Helena in this queer adaption of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Opening to a sold out audience, this theatrical adaption originally premiered in April at The Etcetera Theatre in Camden. Following a great reception the cast and creative crew have been invited back to perform the show again during the Camden fringe in June.
