Flying Duo, Premiere
Flying Duo, a short film directed by Robyn, makes it's official premiere at the iconic Ritzy Picturehouse Cinema in Brixton. Showing alongside the team's previous films, it was a wonderful night celebrating emerging filmmakers. The film will now be beginning its festival run and hopefully will receive many more screenings.

Music Video
Robyn and her sister Charly both fly out to Greece to film a music video for a famous Greek artist. Directed by Palme D'or winner Valisis Kekatos and surrounded by an equally prestigious creative team, the video followed a short-film style narrative. It is due to be released end of October.

The Contraception Fair
This educational yet comedic short film has finished its post production, and was screened privately to cast and crew at the fantastic Rich Mix Cinema in London. Produced by Candid Broad and written/directed by Julie Magnaudet, the film stars Robyn alongside her sister Charly as the IUDs.

Immodest has another London screening, this time at the iconic Prince Charles Cinema. Showing alongside 15 other Super 8 films, the screening was attended by Filmmakers working across multiple mediums.

Midsummer
It's curtains up for A Midsummer Night's Dream, a fundraising event for Compass Collective at The Bush Theatre. With a talented all female cast, this production focuses on themes of girlhood and queerness. The performance took place alongside many other productions of the iconic play, breaking the world record.

Cannes Lions
Immodest returns to the French Riviera, this time for Cannes Lions Festival with a screening at Cinema Les Arcades alongside the other top 8 Straight 8 films of 2025. Cannes Lions, a five-day International Festival of Creativity, is the largest gathering in the creative marketing community.

Compass at The Bush
Robyn is proud to announce she will be directing a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Bush Theatre as part of a fundraising event for Compass Collective. The charity hope the break the world record of the most simultaneous readings/productions of the play for Refugee Week.

Lowswimmer: Sleeper (Hit)
Picloc Productions releases its second video for the artist Lowswimmer, also starring Robyn and Charly Faye. Set in the same cinematic universe as IRL, they play the same roles as before, this time starring alongside Ken Nakajima. The music video was filmed in one shot.

Straight 8 Top 8
The short film Immodest, written by Robyn and Charly Faye and directed by Robyn, has made the Top 8 selection for straight 8 2025. This means it will not only make its UK premiere at the BFI IMAX on the 24th May, but it will premiere internationally at Cannes Film Festival.

Magic 8 Filming
Filming begins for Magic 8, a short film written and directed by Robyn Faye. Set in a 70s sports bar this film explores what it means to make a queer connection in a stereotypical 'straight' space. Starring Felipe Chavez and Nicholas Marrast-Lewis, the film was shot on super 8 with support from Kodak, Digital Orchard and The Make It Happen Fund.

Filming begins! Camille, a young woman who wants to stop taking the birth control pill, finds herself in the ‘Female Contraception Fair', an imaginary place where the female contraceptive methods all compete for her attention, pressuring her to make a choice. Starring Robyn and Charly Faye as the IUDs. Written and Directed by Julie Magnaudet.

SPARK Film Premiere
Gunpowder House are harnessing the powers of ten different filmmakers to create an explosive short film. The twist being, the creation begins with the final scene and is shot backwards! For this new challenge Robyn was invited to write and direct scene 5. The full film is officially ready to premiere and is showing at Ealing Picture House.

Make It Happen Fund
Magic 8 is a 3 minuet short film shot on super 8 which aims to explore what happens when making a queer connection in a stereotypically 'Straight' space. Robyn has just received her first pot of film funding to begin embarking on this film from the RCS run Make It Happen Fund.

IATEOTW: Filming
Robyn officially begins principle photography for the feature film It's Always The End of The World; A romance-thriller that follows Max and Charlotte (Robyn Faye) as they take a trip to a cabin once owned by Charlotte’s now deceased uncle. Max is wrestling with the death of his father, as Charlotte struggles with one year of sobriety.

The short film Scrub Me, Daddy has made the official selection for Film Night New York 2025. It will receive an in-person screening in Brooklyn this October, perfect timing with the spooky season!

Clam Chowder Cunts
Robyn's debut play as a writer, Clam Chowder Cunts, has its first showing as part of Chaos II with Long Night Productions for three sold out nights.. A carpet covered in red wine, a dad who doesn't know how to serve and an ex who's run off to France to make their own cheese, this short play shows the aftermath of a complex breakup.

Immodest Filming
Robyn directs her second Straight 8 film, Immodest. Co-written between herself and Charly Faye, this micro short film was inspired by real 17th century diary entries from nuns, and has a focus on ensemble work. They were lucky enough to film in both the Sepulchre Chapel in Paddington and St John the Baptist Holland Road; both beautiful historic London Churches.

Lowswimmer: IRL
The artist Lowswimmer has released his new music video IRL, created by Picloc Productions and starring Robyn and Charly Faye in the lead roles. Set in a dystopian laboratory basement, the story follows a girl and her botched clone as they are welcomed to their new family.

Straight 8 Rehearsals
Robyn and Charly have decided to enter Straight 8 for a second and final time with their short film Immodest. With a focus on an ensemble cast made up of 18 brilliant actors, they knew rehearsals would be essential in telling their story.

It's Always The End of The World
Robyn begins rehearsals for It's Always The End of The World. Filming next month in Cornwall, this will be Robyn's first feature film in a leading role. She will be playing the role of Charlotte, a recovering addict who has is isolating from the world in her uncles cabin.

New Headshots
After over a decade of being blonde, Robyn has returned to her natural hair colour of brunet. A new look means new headshots, and her updated ones were taken with Alistair Bachelor in time for the new year.

Sunday Shorts
Scrub Me, Daddy has made the official selection for Sunday Shorts Film Festival, and will be screening in Lisbon this November as well as London later in December. It has also received a nomination for Best Micro Film as part of it's yearly awards.

Paris Film Awards
Scrub Me, Daddy, a short film written and directed by Robyn Faye has been selected by the Paris Film Awards, where it also won best Super Short Film. This is Scrub Me, Daddy's first international festival selection, and it feels fitting that it has placed in France.

Lowswimmer: Music Videos
Robyn begins filming on a pair of music videos for the indie artist Lowswimmer. Starring alongside her sister, Charly Faye, and a selection of other identical twins, the video will be released as part of the artist's upcoming album. Charly and Robyn play the leads.

Spit It Out: King's Head
Spit It Out, a trans comedy play written by Alice K Stephens transfers to the King's Head under the new direction of Jamie Coenen. It follows Emily, a young trans woman at the beginning of her transition, as she comes out to friends, family and colleagues. Robyn plays Sarah, her best friend, along with various other ensemble roles.

BBC Radio London
Lonesome, a visual poem directed and edited by Robyn, written and performed by Emma brunet, was selected by the BBC to be broadcast across BBC Radio London and Radio Berkshire. Robyn, along with producer Charly Faye, were also invited onto the London show for a live interview.

London Movie Awards
Scrub Me, Daddy, a short film written and directed by Robyn Faye has been selected by the London Movie Awards, where it also won best Super Short Film. As part of the festival the film will receive an in person screening at Close-Up cinema at the end of September.

Scrub Me, Daddy, a short film written and directed by Robyn, has made the pre screening selection for Watch Shorts Film Festival. It showed at ArtHouse in Crouch End alongside 4 other fantastic short films. The film stars Charly Faye and Emma Brunet-Campain in leading roles.

Robyn works as writer and director for Scene 5 of the 2024 London Spark Challenge, developed by Gunpowder House. This creative challenge enlists 10 filmmakers to work together on one short film: each individually working on a single scene which will eventually be edited together.

Folkestone Film Festival
Scrub Me, Daddy, a short film written and directed by Robyn, has made the official selection at Folkestone Film Festival. It received a presentation at the Gala Event and won the award for best Micro Short. Originally created for Straight 8 2024, this is the film's first award following its original top 25 selection.

Clown School
Robyn joins an eccentric group of artists from all over the world at Ecole Philippe Gaulier's clown school in Paris for a two week intensive master course in the art of 'Bouffon'. Founded in 1980, this school offers a unique style of education, and is a leading establishment in the art of clowning.

24 Hour Shakespeare

BFI IMAX Premiere
Scrub Me, Daddy makes its official premiere on the biggest screen in the UK; The BFI IMAX. Starring Charly Faye in the lead role, this short film was created on one roll of 8mm film for the 2024 Straight 8 competition. It made it's worldwide online premiere a week later, showing alongside 25 other fantastic films.

Alice K Steven's moving trans comedy transfer to London with two nights of performances at The Glitch for the Pinch Of Vaults Festival. Starring Robyn Faye alongside Joe Eason, Audrey Thompson and Isobel Sheard, it opened to an almost sold out audience.

Straight 8 2024
One chance, with no editing. After months of meticulous planning, Robyn finally shoots her Straight 8 film. Due to the nature of Straight 8, there is no way to know if the film will develop successfully, but then what's the fun of creating without risk? Working as writer, director and camera operator, this low budget short is set to be released (fingers crossed!) in 2024.

Spit It Out: Patch
Spit It Out opens at PATCH in Colchester to a sold out audience, and the good news continues as the show will transfer to London for A Pinch Of Vault in February of 2024. This rehearsed reading of the show featured Robyn Faye alongside Joe Eason, Audrey Thompson and Isobel Sheard.

Robyn joins The Makers Theatre for a day of exploration inspired by William Shakespeare's The Tempest. The Makers Theatre was established to interrogate and explore ideas around making multidisciplinary theatre, and they are currently testing idea's for their 2024 season.

Robyn begins rehearsals for Spit It Out, a new queer comedy written by Alice Stephens and directed by Noah Alfred Pantano. The story focuses on Emily as she navigates the challenges of coming out as trans to her friends, family and workplace. Robyn plays her best friend Sarah.

Robyn begins filming on Shame On You. In this psychological thriller directed by Phillipa Ghosh, Anne (played by Robyn) is tormented by an girl only visible to her. As the abuse gets more and more intense Anne begins to spiral, until eventually she takes matters into her own hands.

Robyn participates in an R&D of Penance: a modern adaption of An Inspector Calls written and facilitated by Judi Amato. Focusing on revenge porn, this re-telling of a classic story focuses on a group of friends who's birthday celebrations are interrupted by a strange visitor.

The latest commercial for Ceska Bank is live and features Robyn and Charly Faye. Showing a narrative driven story of self belief, it's tag line "you are stronger than you think" encourages viewers to overcome the voices in your head telling you that you're not good enough. Watch HERE.

Robyn flys to Prague to spend a week working on a new advertising campaign for Czech Savings Bank, resulting in multiple TV and Social Media Commercials as well as Still Shoots. Her twin, Charly Faye, plays Sara, while Robyn plays the part of her evil Alter Ego. Directed by Jan Svejkar.

Straight 8: Top 8 2023
Channel 4's short film Copy Cat (Directed by Sam Baker) has made the Top 8 selection of the Straight 8 film festival 2023. This means it will make it's official premiere at Cannes in May, and it's UK premiere at the BFI Institute later the same month. The film stars Robyn and Charly Faye.

Robyn begins filming for the short film I Got You, directed by Viktoria Papazacharoudaki. She plays the role of Cindy, a hot-headed and manipulative party girl who wakes up in a sticky situation.
The film won the best student film at the Reading University awards.

Robyn's voice can once again be heard in the show Synapse; created by Shanae'a Moore. But this time it's not a radio drama, but a full on immersive theatrical experience. Igniting all the senses, this new show is premiering at The Match (22nd-26th Feb) in Houston Texas in a collaboration with local company Creative Movement Practises.

Robyn begins filming for a new TV commercial for the insurance company LV. Working alongside her sister, Charly Faye, the pair play pesky teenagers sitting down for a family breakfast.

Herbal Essence
Robyn travels to York to film an internal video for the hair care brand Herbal Essence, focusing on a new shampoo and conditioner line that will be released next year. Focusing on how one product can work for everyone while the scents appeal differently, she filmed this alongside her twin sister Charly Faye.

The band Bring Me The Horizon have released their new music video for Strangers featuring Robyn and Charly Faye playing a visual representation of self destruction. The video hit a million views within a day of it's release.

Birdsong, directed by Liam Beasley, is a short film featuring Robyn and Charly Faye. Robyn plays Anna; the older of two sisters struggling with the death of their mother.
The film was shot in her home town of Reading and will be doing a festival run next year.

A new music video for Bring Me The Horizon will showcase Robyn and Charly Faye as featured actors; due to be released in a couple of months. Together they play the role of 'Self destruction', performed through a variety of movement sequences.

Hi-Fidelity is the new single from upcoming queer artist LAVA LA RUE. Robyn, alongside her sister Charly, performed in the official music video as the bartenders of an underground club called The Globe.

R&D: Something Cotton
Written and soon to be directed by Hollye Swinehart, Robyn took part in a Reading and Development session for the short film Something Cotton which is due to film in August. Robyn workshopped the role of Anne, a southern American woman whose antagonistic nature is causing friction with her daughter.

Woman Unscene is a collection of short monologues telling the story of inspirational woman throughout history. Filmed in Loughton Library, they were directed by Alfie James and will be shown in various schools to celebrate the role of woman in society. Robyn plays the part of the famous author Jane Austin.

Off The Block
Robyn was invited to take part in Rabble Theatre's Off The Block: a collection of four short plays written over 4 days, and then learnt and rehearsed over 12 hours. Robyn got her script at 7:30am, and curtains went up at 7:30 pm to a sold out audience.
